Lathislus was born in Mannar and diagnosed with heart disease at the age of three and two years ago was urged to have an open-heart surgery. Due to the conditions that he and is family lived in the case came to the attention of the Eagle Care Project. We decided to support him and his family through providing accommodation, meals and transport to his routine clinical check-ups in Jaffna. After years of trying he finally got a date for the surgery at Lady Ridgeway Hospital on 14th Aug 2020. The surgery was a success and he has recovered and gone back to his home town!
