Yet another proud for the Eagle Nest programme, a huge congratulations Christilda, Mathini and Vijialadsumy for getting government jobs at Divisional Secretariat. These students lost their eyesight during the 2009 civil war and some also lost upper limbs. Also, a huge congratulations to Kayalvillia who has become a qualified teacher. Thanks to Principal Dushyanthi Thuseetharan for giving these girls an opportunity to study at CGC and teachers who educated them. We would also like the thank the sponsors for their support, JWT Sri Lanka and Eagle Christian Fellowship of Canada for supporting the visually handicapped students. We had a ceremony at CGC to celebrate their achievements, it’s great to see our students flourishing beyond their time at the school.
