Another proud moment for the Eagle Nest programme, a huge congratulations Sivananthan Siva for winning the “Professor Alagaiah Thurairajah Gold Medal” at Jaffna University.

This is the most prestigious award given at Jaffna University for best all-round student. This includes best performance in Academics, Sports, Leadership, Research, Charity and article publication.

After the war Siva was living in a welfare camp till, he joined St. John’s College in late 2009 as a boarder supported by the Eagle Nest Programme UK. He excelled at St John’s so it is great to see him continue to be a success at university. Our big thank you Mr Thana SriRam for sponsoring him, not only providing financial support but also being a source of inspiration for Sivananthan Siva.
